You can’t celebrate SCORE’S 25th without including the legendary Devon Daniels. In fact, in August 2017 she will be celebrating her 50th Birthday! Is there any chance of SCORE doing a retrospect with a new interview of Devon with pictures of her now?

This is an awesome topic. I too go far back with knowing specific models and ones in particular that had a more buxom and shapely look. I love one one post’s reference to Joanne Latham…no doubt, very beautiful and it was a timeless cover with her hat tipped low in a gold bikini. I loved Avril Lund as she really had a shape that had me mesmerized and one I found gorgeous. Marilyn Lange had a very beautiful and shapely way about her. Those old days when only a few publications (and that’s literal for all those that don’t recall magazines) really limited the amount and type of models that were able to be showcased…clearly, 30+ years later, so much has changed. Back then, before the 80’s, I loved how much of the shoots were very organic with little to no ability to “doctoring” of the shots. There was art direction and quite a bit of photographic and thematic thought in shooting a model, but it was different in that the images had a real quality since they were shot with SLR cameras and limited effects; akin to playing an LP record, one got it all, scratches etc, the moment captured, and the moment, like all things, wasn’t hermetically sealed in perfection. Those days included more shoots that had an outdoor and ‘free’ feel to them and their presentation. I feel strongly that TSG has not only cornered the market on the style of models I love, but they have also continued the photographic and art direction elements I loved from those publications of the past. I can’t say that with enough praise either. I like this thread and the retrospective elements that have occurred in TSG anniversary publications. What will 25 yrs hold…I can’t wait for it. So as always, I have to thank John Fox, and the dynamic team of Elliot and Dave…you all produce the content I love.
