Did you know that Model of the Year is the oldest of the V-mag Awards? It’s true. From 1998 to 2001, Model of the Year was the only V-mag Award (can you name the first winner?). Neither of us could figure out why SCORE had Newcomer of the Year but not Model of the Year while V-mag had Model of the Year but not Newcomer of the Year. So, we decided to add the missing awards to both mags, and since then, each has had both. Can you name the first V-mag Newcomer of the Year?
Hitomi won 2012 V-mag Model of the Year, and she’s one of 13 finalists for 2013 Model of the Year. Now, if you ask me, Hitomi is more of a SCORE Girl than a V-Girl, but I only get one vote.
