I remember the day I first saw the debut issue of Voluptuous. Everyone had great expectations, and those expectations were fulfilled. The technical advancements in producing the magazine over the last 25 years are also amazing.
“Any magazine that takes off with the momentum Voluptuous had creates a lot of excitement,” TSG founder John Fox recalled. “Of course, this was before email and the Internet, so our mailman was bringing us a ton of reader feedback every day. It encouraged us but also helped us a lot to fine-tune Voluptuous to be the magazine our readers wanted it to be.
“I think it is a more-polished product now. Few industries have been impacted more by technology than printing. Compared to 25 years ago, the quality of the ink-on-paper is so much better now, and a lot of that is due to a decision we made a long time ago to keep all of our prepress production in-house, where we could control the quality better. That coupled with our really skilled team of great designers and editors and the level of sophistication in the way the models are made up and photographed has added to how Voluptuous has evolved. And, of course, the HD videos that now come as a bonus with each issue. I think that’s just amazing. I sure didn’t see it coming 25 years ago.”
A model recently told me that she got a thrill when she saw her cover issue in a store. I don’t think the web produces that same kind of feeling. But whatever the platform or delivery system, Voluptuous magazine’s slogan, “All Stacked All Natural,” and its dedication to finding and showcasing very special big-boobed girls remains the same as it did in 1994. Some things don’t change.
Wrote SCORE editor Dave in Vol. 28 No. 3 of the magazine (the print version is sure to be a fast sell-out), “With all due respect to the other nine girls in the Newcomer of the Year contest, this one wasn’t close. Korina Kova, the hourglass beauty from British Columbia, Canada, took a commanding early lead in the voting and never looked back.”
The Busty Ladies Of Oil Wrestling (B.L.O.W.) was SCORE‘s only nosedive into the wild world of catfighting. Our femme combat specialists for this special were the very best of an unbeatable Voluptuous line-up: Angela White, Annie Swanson, Brandy Talore and Cherry Brady. They made this movie what it is with their high-energy, motivation and personalities, not to mention their awesome bods, huge tits and well-cushioned asses.
Dave and I were involved in the shoot as ringside color man and referee since we had extensive prior experience in being assaulted by female wrestlers, and a former SCORE staff member was the girls’ fitness trainer. I remember this event very well, both for the great, naked and oiled-up quartet and because hurricane Frances was getting closer to Miami and we had to speed up the fighting. And I got smashed into the mat by four V-Mag covergirls at the end. My spine never recovered fully, and my right kidney still bears the imprint of Annie’s knee.
Since then, the DVD release remains a good seller and still a popular title at video stores. There is really nothing like it with girls as built as this wild bunch. It has a timeless feel to it and will always be one of my biggies.
We never did another wrestling special after B.L.O.W. I don’t know why. Maybe we shot our load and a follow-up would not have been as good. Maybe other projects, like foreign-location shoots, became the focus. If we were to do another B.L.O.W., I don’t know who could be the new fantastic four, but I have some ideas.
SCORE‘s September ’18 “Rack To The Future” print issue goes on-sale next week (subscribers are getting their copies now). Dave blogged on June 19: “How many times have you looked at a new SCORE Girl and thought, ‘She looks just like…’ or ‘Her boobs are the same as…’ or ‘Something about this girl reminds me of…’?”
That triggered a “kissin’ cousins” comparison I’ve thought about, even though the two I picked are not separated by many years, like Danni Ashe and Valory Irene are. Now and then I write a “separated at birth” item in SCORE‘s “Boob Beat” column. Dave chose Katarina Dubrova and Ines Cudna for the issue, which is in keeping with comparisons of girls with a wide gulf of time between them. The more I look at Czech Katarina Dubrova and American Kali West, the more they remind me of each other.
Both are pretty, long-haired blondes. Katarina tends to smile more than Kali. They both posed when they were knocked-up. Kali does anal sex. Katarina doesn’t. They’ve both been on SCOREtv. I can picture them side-by-side in the same outfit and makeup, doing the same moves.

When I informed SCORE CEO and publisher John Fox, he said, “The long, winding road of Angela White’s career in adult has finally reached a pinnacle! I remember her as a chubby 18-year-old, wide-eyed girl, fresh off a plane from Oz, and so excited to be at SCORE to shoot her first adult content. What great tits!”
Spring 2003. It was a late night at the SCORE office. When you’re in this business, it often means burning the midnight oil. I was opening the mail and noticed Australia as the return address. It was a letter (yes, on paper) from a girl named Angela White. She was interested in SCORE. An 18-year-old girl from Australia who wanted to be a SCORE Girl? This was too good to be true.
It was true. We saw her at-home photos. We arranged a flight and a hotel. Angela walked into the building on June 9, 2003. The rest is big-bust modeling history. That first day, Dave and I interviewed the sassy teen on-video.
After Angela flew home, I emailed her and asked her thoughts about her experience.
She wrote back.
“What does being in SCORE mean to me? It means everything! Being a model meant that you got to prove to everyone that you were beautiful. I guess I really wanted to do that because I was insecure about my appearance. I was pretty chubby as a kid so I thought I had no hope. My dream was to appear in SCORE like so many of my idols, like Linsey and Autumn-Jade. What does it mean for me to appear in SCORE? It means my body can finally get the appreciation that it deserves, it means that I am actually living my dreams and it means that I can finally be myself.”
After that, Angela’s sex drive and energy only increased while she finished university, ran for public office and worked in an Australian TV series. She wrestled three choice girls in B.L.O.W.: the Busty Ladies of Oil Wrestling as Hurricane Frances approached Florida. She won Voluptuous Model of the Year. She went to The Bahamas for a group shoot called Big Boob Paradise. She broke her hardcore cherry and asked us to arrange it (Angela White Finally Fucks). Miss P-Chan from Japan had a plan to be part of the Voluptuous clan. Now, one of the world’s bustiest Asians makes her international magazine debut in the November ’15 Voluptuous. Until now, P-Chan had only appeared in Japanese men’s mags.
“I learned about SCORE from a friend,” P-Chan said. She’ll be back in the February ’16 SCORE magazine.
