Do people really watch porn on their smartphones? And, if so, why?

Wasn’t it just a few years ago that big-screen everything was in? Or am I imagining that? I know for sure that back in the late 1970s and early 1980s when I would frequent the occasional peep-show booth, the privacy was great but the screens were too small (they seemed to have an odd film over them, too). Then, when the VHS craze started, the only bad thing was that we had to watch porn on 25-inch TV screens. Then the screens got bigger and bigger, and suddenly, we had life-sized tits and fucking on 60-inch screens. Bigger-than-life-sized tits and fucking was great! Or at least I thought it was.
Because now I’m finding out that people are using their smartphones and tablets for everything from text messaging to shopping to surfing the Internet to reading books. Yes, it’s true: People read books on their smartphones. How can anybody read a book on a screen that’s less than five inches high and about two-and-a-quarter inches wide?
But even more amazing: People are watching full-length movies on their smartphones. Some people never watch TV or use a desktop (soon to be a thing of the past) or laptop computer. They watch everything on their smartphones.

Including porn? Yes. Including porn. Not me. For me, the bigger the screen the better. But how about you? Our current poll asks, “Do you ever watch porn videos on a tablet or smartphone?”

Watching porn on the smartphone always leaves me wanting for larger and bigger images. The sound is OK, and getting better. But the delays on video streaming also tend to suck. I do enjoy it from time to t ime, but only in “emergencies”, or when I want to keep up with the blog.
hell i only just started with a computer a couple of years back and my phone is just a basic nokia that doesnt have apps but i sure wouldnt be bothered watching porn on such a small screen,, why the fuck would you?? i have a big tit screen saver on my nokia but thats it.. i do have a tablet but very rarely use it,, i like to watch porn on my 40 inch screen..
It’s like you were reading my mind, Dave. I wonder the same things . . . I think that people tend to get so wound up about new technology, about the “We can do this now!” aspect of it that they forget about the “Okay, we can do it, but why would we want to?” aspect.
So . . . playing “Angry Birds” while you’re waiting in line at the post office . . . I get that. Watching “Avatar” on a smartphone . . . seems kind of stupid.
And porn? I don’t want to have to squint to watch my favorite SCORE models get drilled 🙂 I’d rather wait for a private moment at home when I can afford to give the video a little space on a big-enough screen.
But to each his own. Just part of the glorious tapestry of life (and porn), right?
My phone lets me take porn with me everywhere, and watch it almost whenever I feel like it–even on a bus or a plane if I’m discreet. Sure, a big screen is better, but I can watch a lot more porn if I use my phone as well. It’s handy for a quick bit of porn at work, too, without leaving a trace in my employer’s computers.
