Today at SCORELAND, Jordan Pryce says, “Hey, I’ll have that one, too!”

March 23, 2018 by Dave

How Jordan’s date turned into a DP.

You can’t not give a girl like Jordan what she wants. You just can’t. This blonde bra-buster has never heard the word, “No,” especially when her question is, “Can I have a DP?”

That’s right: Today at SCORELAND, Jordan gets DP’d.

And on a totally unrelated subject…do you know what the hardest task in the world is? Coming up with a list of the 20 Greatest V-Girls Ever, meaning from the beginning to now. Go ahead. Just try and you’ll see what I’m saying: See how many great girls you’ll have to leave off the list. Elliot and I have been going back and forth on this for days. I brought it up to TSG Chief John Fox yesterday, and he smiled and said, “Dave, these are the decisions editors have to make.”

Yeah, like whether to cut off my left hand or my right?

Okay, it’s not that tough. But close.

Go ahead. Just try. Top 20 girls in the history of Voluptuous magazine. Bet you can’t do it.

Dave: Well, it would certainly be a way of pairing down the candidates 🙂 Yeah, that’s pretty much the suggestion. And the five you mentioned as being left out all made the SCORE 20th anniversary “20 for 20” list, so it’s not as if they’ve been left uncelebrated . . .

I’m sure that there would be those who would complain of this or that model missing from the list . . . but you’re going to have that no matter what you do 🙂

Dave: I think you’ve found the key to completing your list. You kind of have to pigeon-hole the models as to in which magazine each one most belongs.

Yes, I would agree that Danni Ashe, Hitomi and Sharday were more SCORE than Voluptuous, and that Samantha 38G is the prototypical XL Girl, yet all clearly have significant V-Mag resumes . . . which just expands an already enormous pool of candidates.

V-Mag is in that middle world, sharing some models with Score, and other with XL Girls. Once you categorize all the candidates and eliminate those in the latter two camps, it’ll make for any easier decision. EASIER, but still not at all easy!

I would agree with you, there is no way that any sane person would keep Karina Hart off an officially recognized Voluptuous anniversary Top 20. But I unabashedly made my list based on my own favorites rather than what I figure a consensus would be, and I did it while considering any model who had a significant number of appearances in Voluptuous. With the exception of Gianna Rossi, who I think had only two V-Mag photo spreads, all the rest appeared at least three times. So, while I would maintain that there was never a more gorgeous model in the pages of TSG than Latvian blonde Inesse in her early V-Mag sets, I realize that she wouldn’t make most people’s list. The same goes for personal faves like Cameron Skye, Lilith and Carrie.

I do believe what you say about Sarah Mercury and Diane Poppos. Diane sort of pioneered the “reader’s wife” concept, if indirectly. And Sarah was from my era of magazine-buying. She was one of the great “slim-but-NATURALLY-stacked” models and I always looked forward to her photo sets. But I had Siri on my Top 20, and she’s kind of from the same physical model, so Sarah didn’t make the cut.

I don’t envy you, having to make these decisions (which is saying something, considering I generally envy the hell out of you having the job you do!), but, as Mr. Fox points out, that’s why you and Elliot get paid the big/medium-size/whatever bucks. You can base it purely on who’s the most decorated, award-wise. You can figure in sales of their cover appearances. You can factor in personal preferences, or which of them have the best personalities, bur here’s your saving grace: with so many worthy candidates, you are assured that no matter who you pick, it will be the right Top 20, AND the wrong Top 20. You can’t win, you can’t lose. But at least you’ll start some conversations!

carney22: That’s interesting: The Top 20 should include girls who are more associated with V-Mag than with SCORE or XL Girls. If a girl would be better suited for the SCORE list, she can’t be on the V-Mag list. Is that what you’re suggesting? Of course, that means Danni, Hitomi, Sharday, Linsey Dawn McKenzie and Christy Marks would not be on V-Mag’s Top 20 list.

So let’s say we made that the criteria. Then the list might look like this: Kerry Marie, Karina Hart, Nicole Peters, Leanne Crow, Vanessa Y., Joana Bliss, Nadine Jansen, Via Paxton, Milly Marks, Rhonda Baxter, Micky Bells, Diane Poppos, Natalie Fiore, Cherry Brady, Lorna Morgan, maybe Chloe Vevrier, Kelly Kay, Maserati, Jessica Turner, Angela White, Inesse, Maserati, Roxi Red, Rachel Raxxx, Carol Brown. I know I went over 20, but I have to say that if we made that the criteria–girls who are more V-Girls than SCORE or XL Girls–it would be hard to argue with this list.

      Thanks,
      Dave

Awesome, Jordan is looking amazing. Hope you’ll get Sybil Stallone on Scoreland too, she’s the ultimate barbie.

  6. vx says:

Is this new scene with Jordan or it’s from the vault?

  7. carney22 says:

    Okay, Dave, 20 it is . . .

To start with your original premise, it was indeed nearly impossible to cut the list to a mere 20, but I would have already assumed that. I’ve always preferred the curvaceously proportioned women in V-Mag to the enhanced slim-and-stack look in SCORE, so I could have easily come up with a personal Top 100.

Despite the seemingly simple parameter of considering models who have had a full pictorial in Voluptuous, what I discovered was that there was an endless number of crossovers, women who appeared originally in SCORE and then gravitated to Voluptuous, and those that were active in both magazines at the same time. One of my Top 5 picks would be my No. 1 choice if you ever did an XL Girls Top 20, but she had a large body (pun intended) of work in V-Mag even years after her move to XLG. And then you have the August 2000 “Legends” edition of Voluptuous, which qualified about a dozen models from an earlier era for this list.

Trimming the list was so difficult that it DOESN’T include legends like Linsey Dawn McKenzie, Cherry Brady, Autumn-Jade, Kerry Marie, Nicole Peters, Angela White, Kelly Kay, Ines Cudna, Renee Ross or Merilyn Sakova. And I had to bump personal favorites like Chelsea Blue, Tasha Adams, Talya Faust, Dayton Hines, Gwen Sanders, Chaka T, Desirae AND Desiree, Sarah Mercury, Bex Shiner, Dors Feline, Felicia Clover, Kali West, Ms. Yummy, Cassity, Kerra Dawson, Delotta Brown, Paola Rios, Scarlet LaVey and Terri Jane.

    And this is what remained:

    20. Inesse, 19. Rhonda Baxter, 18. Allie Pearson, 17. Katarina Dubrova, 16. Annie Swanson, 15. Siri, 14. Sharday, 13. Gianna Rossi, 12. Arianna Sinn, 11. Cameron Skye, 10. Danni Ashe, 9. Via Paxton, 8. Vanessa Y., 7. Lilith, 6. Carrie, 5. Samantha 38G, 4. Milly Marks, 3. Lorna Morgan, 2. Christy Marks, and No. 1 . . . Chloe Vevrier.

The list also doesn’t include Hitomi, Alaura Grey, Lara Jones or Karina Hart. I’m sure a lot of your readers will consider this nothing short of sacrilege, but it’s my list, so I get to load it up with my own favorites 🙂

    • Dave says:

carney22: Now that’s an interesting list! I told you it was nearly impossible to get down to 20. I’m going to focus on a few of your selections and non-selections.

Renee Ross: Undoubtedly more of an XL Girl, but she was two-time V-mag Model of the Year, so how can we (meaning V-mag editors) keep her off the list?
Sharday: Definitely more on the SCORE side as far as her build, but she had great tits, a great ass and was also two-time Model of the Year.
Micky Bells: Not on any of your lists. Just wondering why. Same for Natalie Fiore.
Danni Ashe: Yeah, she’s a great one, but is she also more of a SCORE Girl? Is she really voluptuous even though she appeared in V-mag in the 1990s.
Hitomi: Definitely more of a SCORE Girl, but she has some of the greatest naturals ever.

Honestly, there’s no way we could keep Karina Hart off our list. She’s the epitome of voluptuous and one of the greats.

Here’s a little inside info: In the early 2000s, there were two girls who, if we put them on the cover, high sales were almost guaranteed: Sarah Mercury and Diane Poppos.

The interesting thing about this list is that just about any Top 20 is going to have great girls. It’s when you get to the question, “Why isn’t this girl on the list?” that things become problematic.

Roxi Red? Janet Jade? Joana Bliss, Maserati? Miosotis? Carol Brown? Milly Marks? Nadine Jansen? Jessica Turner, Sammie black? I just named 10 girls who most people would say have to be in the Top 20, but then when you get to actually making the Top 20, decisions have to be made, and they’re not easy.

Voluptuous was THE mag, back in the day (pre internet).
I liked Score, but V was just loaded with natural wonders of the world.
I go back to the second issue in my history of the publication, and man, there
have been so many models that blew my mind that i’ve long since forgotten.

  9. carney22 says:

Not so easy, Dave, for those of us who take in Score through the web site rather than the magazine. You used to go to lengths to differentiate Score and Voluptuous here at Scoreland, but that was several years ago, and now it all ends up mixed in the same wonderful, boobalicious stew. And I understand that . . . it makes sense with the current state of the technology vs. the magazine industry. I suppose the way to go about it for us web-only boob hounds is to go to the TSG store and see which models appeared in V-mag over the last few years rather than in Score.

But consider this: what about those models that appeared in Score BEFORE there was Voluptous, but would have likely appeared in the latter magazine in years after? They were Score models, but shouldn’t they be considered for your V-Top 20?

But why stop at 20? Why not 25? Isn’t 2019 the 25th annniversary of Voluptuous? Which would mean we’re about to enter the 25th year of V-Mag in a month or so . . . I assume that’s why you’re putting together a list 🙂

    • Dave says:

carney22: Good points, but for these purposes, let’s stick to girls who had full pictorials in Voluptuous.

25 is a good point. I have to say, 25 makes it easy. But let’s stick to 20 for now.

  10. julian says:

Nicole Peters, Merilyn, Christy Marks, Alexya, Hitomi, Karina Hart, Autumn Jade, Sharday…
    Legendary models!

Linsey, Anna Song, Bea Flora, Valory Irene, Sha Rizel, Tiggle Bitties,
Louisa May/Lockhart (wait, was she ever a V-girl?)….

  11. Vijhon says:

Yes.we like more so from scoregirls

  12. nicK says:

So good to see Jordan again.

  13. Chris says:

top20 is tough, but these names MUST be on the list:
Nicole Peters, Chloe Vevrier, Hitomi, Linsey, Karina Hart. These 5 names MUST be on any list!

    • Dave says:

Chris: Five is easy, although I could make an argument against at least two of those. But try 20. And remember: This is Voluptuous, not SCORE.
