Well, they’re all wearing glorious examples of some of the choices in this week’s poll, which asks, “What do you most like to see a stacked model wearing at the start of her photo shoot or video?” But also, as some of you might have guessed (I’m guessing Dino figured it out), they’ve all been voted off the “Best of the Decade” island over the past nine days.
Now, I’m going to confess something: When Cherry was voted No. 66, then Janet No. 62, then Ashley No. 61, then Alexis No. 59, I was a little shocked and more than a little pissed. I mean, these are great girls, among my all-time favorites, and Ashley (I’m going to give you an inside scoop here) is leading in the early voting for 2009 SCORE Newcomer of the Year.
But then I got to thinking. I said to myself, “Self, if Cherry really is No. 66, and Janet really is No. 62, and Ashley really is No. 61, and Alexis really is No. 59, then according to the voters, we’ve had 58 newcomers in this decade who are better than Cherry, Janet, Ashley and Alexis.” And that’s just mindbogglingly impressive. I might not agree with it, but it’s impressive.
See? If you really try, you can put a spin on anything. So, I’d like to thank the “Best of the Decade” voters for pointing out to me just how great SCORELAND really is. Even better than I’d imagined.

Well, I think I’m a glass half-full kind of guy, Dave, so I’m willing to agree with you. But I have to tell you, I still think most guys must not have known the voting was in reverse order. That has to be the explanation. And I still wish there was a reset button on the voting.
Observation – Janet Jade and I are boob-look-a-likes! Our boobs look very similar here. That could be fun thing to do instead of a contest next time – match up boob styles!

Dave, I think your rationale is right on the money. These are 100 of the most beautiful women in the world and there can only be one winner. There is no shame in not finishing first. The other thing to keep in mind is that we don’t know these women like you do and that probably has a lot to do with how we vote vs. how you would vote. I am a big fan of the creative aspects of these photo shoots and videos, so a clever concept, with great photography, a great set, a great outfit, great lighting, great posing, and great cropping, has a lot to do with how I perceive the model. As an example, the recent photo shoot of Angel Sin over on your XLGirls site nearly melted my computer monitor. OMG, that was smoking hot. How much of it was the model and how much of it was the creative concept behind it? I don’t know and I don’t care. All I know is that it really turned me on and now I am an Angel Sin fan for life. My point is that there is a big difference between fantasy and reality. Keep up the good work and please more Angel. I would think she would be an excellent candidate for Voluptuous magazine.

Maybe you should think twice next year with your voting process. 100 days to vote is a joke. It seems to me to be an idea to keep subscribers for three months. And voting “contra” and not “pro” isn’t really a good idea IMHO.
If I were you, I would do a test-poll to see if the voting process is wrong or not. Make a classic “vote for your top 10 out of 100” for a few days and see what happen. I bet Ashley will be in the top 10 (yes, she’s one of my fav too :D)
I may be wrong, but voting against the models don’t really seems like a good idea to me.
