Can Alexya go out in public like this? That depends on where she is.
Is Alexya actually dressed in this photo from her posting today at SCORELAND? I mean, she’s wearing clothes, right? She has on a top and shorts. She can go out in public like this, right? I wouldn’t complain.
Well, I did some research. According to the website “World Population Review,” “Free the Nipple” is a campaign that would allow women to be shirtless and free of harassment and judgment. The movement challenges the convention that men are allowed to be topless in public while it is considered indecent or sexual for women to do the same. The argument is that both men and women have breasts and nipples, while men’s breasts just tend to be smaller. The campaign asserts that it should be legally and culturally acceptable for women to bare their nipples in public. It does not aim to force every woman to go topless in public.”
Glad to hear that. Apparently, there is no federal law against nudity in the U.S. Glad to hear that too. But three states – Indiana, Tennessee, and Utah – have banned the showing of the female nipple in public. So if Alexya is out in public in any state except those, she’s legal. I know that topless nudity is not uncommon in New York City. I also know that I’ve seen women at their jobs whose breasts were almost – but not quite – as revealed as Alexya’s are here.
Of course, they didn’t look as good as Alexya.
