SCORE’s 20 Greatest Naturals: 20 years ago, 10 years ago and now

May 9, 2021 by Dave

I have fond memories of the top-left issue. It’s the September 2001 edition of SCORE, and it was our first 20 Greatest Naturals issue. It was also the first issue I edited (with a lot of help–and I mean a lot–from SCORE Chief John Fox. Basically, he told me what to do and I did it.).

It has now been almost 20 years to the day since we worked on that issue in-house and 10 years since we worked on the issue top-right, the September 2011 edition, so I’m wondering how many of these girls have stood the test of time. How many of them can still be considered one of SCORE’s 20 Greatest Naturals? Granted, at this point, we could easily do 60 Greatest Naturals, maybe 100. But let’s keep it to 20. Who’s still on your list? Who isn’t? And who replaces them?

FYI, although I’m sure a lot of you know, the girls on the September 2001 cover are, in alphabetical order: Alexis Love, Annette Christiansen, Autumn-Jade, Carrie Lynn, Charlotte, Chloe Vevrier, Danni Ashe, Devon Daniels, Diane Poppos, Jeannine Oldfield, Jessica Turner, Kerry Marie, Linsey Dawn McKenzie, Lisa Phillips, Lorna Morgan, Nilli Willis, Rhonda Baxter, Sammie Black, Silvia Panda and Via Paxton.

The girls on the September 2011 cover are, in alphabetical order: Arianna Sinn, Autumn-Jade, Chloe Vevrier, Christy Marks, Danni Ashe, Diane Poppos, Ines Cudna, Janet Jade, Karina Hart, Karla James, Kerry Marie, Linsey Dawn McKenzie, Lorna Morgan, Merilyn Sakova, Nadine Jansen, Natalie Fiore, Nicole Peters, Sharday, Terry Nova; and Valory Irene.

Seven girls from 2001 were still on the list in 2011: Autumn, Chloe, Danni, Diane, Kerry, Linsey and Lorna. Are they still Top 20 in 2021?

I’d love to see autumn jade again. There’s something sexy about seeing the girls a decade later. Poppos was great.

Vanessa Y came to me while I was dreaming last night.

Diane Poppos is my pick of that list – an absolute knockout! I believe the last time she appeared was 2011 – surely it’s time for a ten year reunion, Score?

Chaka T should’ve been there, I reckon, but I suspect she might’ve been more V too.

Well…. My preference leans toward help from, “the Breast Fairy.” Over the Natural only movement. As for the top 20? Chloe Vervier, Danni Ashe, Kerry Marie & LDM are still there. Karina Hart, Nadine Jansen and Valory Irene stay as well. The one girl who is a must add add???? Hitomi Tanaka…..

No Cherry Brady? One of the best bodies (and fun personalities) ever

I can’t imagine any list of Top 20 SCORE Naturals that wouldn’t include Chloe Vevrier, Danni Ashe and Lorna Morgan. And I would think that it would be difficult to deny Autumn-Jade, Kerry Marie and Linsey Dawn McKenzie a three-peat. Whatever the case, the September 2001 issue marked a sea change at TSG, from the domination of the enhanced, slim-and-stacked dancers who highlighted the early days of the magazine to the fuller-figured natural models, who begat V-mag and eventually XLGirls. And while everyone while have their own preferences, I think that was a VERY good thing.
