Jasmine Shiraz appears this weekend in a video (today) and photo set (Friday) at SCORELAND wearing a belly dancing costume decorated with coins. She’s the first SCORE model born in Iran, so you could say Jasmine was born to wear it. (Any kind of dancing has been banned in Iran since the Islamic Revolution in 1979. It’s the people’s loss. No jiggles and giggles for them.)

Dave mentioned in his June 16 Blog that “Elliot and I might have gone a bit nuts with the gift-pack giveaway trivia questions. The answer (from among Kellei G, Casey James, Linsey Dawn McKenzie and Dawn Stone) was Dawn Stone, and I wish I had a dollar for everyone who guessed Kellei G.”
However, when Dave and I were coming up with questions and answers, I threw in that the answers were multiple choice, not a much harder fill-in form of answer, and that the answers were all inside SCORELAND. No one had to pour through 20 years of back-issue magazines that 90% or more didn’t even own or, if they did have, were probably stored away in boxes. The answers were clicks away.
For example, I thought everyone would get these two questions from No. 13 right:

Going to Morgan’s interview, published in its entirety in the Interviews section of “Galleries,” the very first sentence is, “The 2006 SCORE Newcomer of the Year turned out to be a true Cinderella story: Morgan Leigh, who sailed as a passenger on the 2000 Boob Cruise and walked around admiring the big-titted superstars of SCORE magazine, is now, all these years later, a big-titted superstar of SCORE magazine.” The interview is also on video, plus it’s also mentioned in some of Morgan’s pictorials. Until 2006, I had no idea how influential the Boob Cruise was in Morgan’s life.

There they were in a “Galleries” Mammary Lane story with Stern sidekick “Fred The Elephant Boy” and nine photos. The story was about Colt, Casey and Kellei G’s visit to New York City for the Howard Stern Show on E! TV in February, 1995. The girls were also given the thankless job of shaving Fred. Linsey appeared on Stern by herself, a show also shown on E! TV when they broadcast Stern. This show aired nationally on February 14, 2003. (I still have that show on VHS tape.) Many chose Lovette although Puerto Vallarta is listed three times right on her model page of links, and going to the recent Puerto Vallarta special with Jenna Valentine, Hitomi, Natalie Fiore, Micky Bells and Leanne Crow, there’s no sign of Karla, who was actually invited but couldn’t make it.

Around the turn of the century (the 20th century, not the 19th century), an editor at SCORE coined the question, “Where have all the good girl-girls gone?”
That editor has moved on to another career, but it’s still a relevant question.
We still ask it.

The warehouse men were organizing some shelves when one of them found a dusty box tucked away in a forgotten corner high up on a shelf out of sight.
He opened it to find pristine, mint-condition copies of the long-sold out Holiday 2000 SCORE.
This was the Boob Cruise 2000 issue, the chronicle of the fifth and final SCORE sailing, this time on the Windjammer ship, The Legacy, in April, 2000. The ship sailed out of St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands and on to such islands as St. Croix, Jost Van Dyke and Sandy Cay.
What a group of passengers! Linsey Dawn McKenzie, Jessica Turner, Lorna Morgan, Maxi Mounds, Donita, Ariana, Adina, Jessica Justice, Windy Leigh, Melody Foxxe, Tanya Danielle, Dawn Stone, Casey James, Brittany Love and Minka all on one very cool sailing ship. Joining them was Alyssa Alps. Alyssa wrote the ship’s log for the magazine that year.
I was on that ship. My associate E. and I had the job of recording the daily activities on-board and on the islands we visited. He and I didn’t sleep much that week. But sleep could wait until our return to the States. Every day, we would photograph what the girls were up to, day and night, and write the logs, then beam it at night to the SCORE building in Miami.
We had a portable satellite dish that we’d set up on various parts of the ship depending on the time and weather conditions. It was an experiment in the unknown. We didn’t know if it would work, but it did. Every day, SCORELAND members would log in and see the latest pictures and read about what was going on that day. We couldn’t transmit video from the ship, but back then, posted videos on the Net were one-minute clips. Anyone reading this remember the early days of the Web?

Anyway, that 164-page Holiday 2000 SCORE was the most highly anticipated edition of 2000, and when it hit the stores, it had the biggest “sell-through” ever of any SCORE mag. It has full layouts of all of the girls, lots of candid pictures of all of the activities on deck and on the islands and, of course, there’s Alyssa’s daily log of life in the Caribbean with an army of naked SCORE Girls. Double-A was the longtime “On The Road” columnist at SCORE, and she was the perfect scribe for this job.
If you never owned this issue, get one now while we have them. I thought all the copies were long gone, cleaned-out.

Gorgeous Angel Eyes debuted in our November ’95 issue. She became a popular star on the strip club circuit and could be on the road dancing up to 46 weeks a year. DJ was in South Florida for the first time in nine years and visited the SCORE building. While we gave him the guided tour, we asked him if he’d like to guest blog, and he accepted. It’s been over ten years since I last visited SCORE Land (not the web site SCORELAND but the real, honest-to-God location in Miami). Since then, SCORE headquarters has moved from its modest offices just off the highway in Southwest Miami to a very impressive, spacious building on a tree-lined boulevard in the city of Doral. For folks not familiar with southern Florida, that’s code for an upscale, recently-developed mini-city near the airport. It was easy to find on my cab ride from the hotel.
A few folks are still around since my last visit: John Fox, SCORE’s publisher, editors Elliot James and Bruce Smith, photographer Peter Wall, art director Steve and Internet genius E. A couple of those folks remember the early days of SCORE as fondly as I do as a charter subscriber. Nowadays, when I pick up SCORE or Voluptuous at the newsstand, they come with a DVD. Back in the old pre-Internet days, the magazine came with a newsletter.
I first heard about Peter from one of those pack-in newsletters, when he did his first layout for SCORE magazine with SaRenna Lee. Peter and I became friends later on the 1995 Boob Cruise, when I was a brand new amateur photographer, and I enjoyed watching him at work and learning a few things from the master on that and later Cruises. Last time I came to South Florida, I visited Peter at his old studio in Fort Lauderdale, where he was a freelancer. Now he’s a SCORE Studio employee at the SCORE building with lots of sets and lights and a big make-up room next door. I couldn’t spend much time poking around in there because they’re busy shooting…as usual, I’m sure.
I met Elliot on the Cruise, too, and used to see him from time to time at the big events in Las Vegas. We’ve stayed in touch over the years. Elliot moved from Vegas to Miami a long time ago to stay closer to the heart of the SCORE operation. Bruce and I haven’t stayed in touch, but we remember each other from the many Cruises together. I remember Steve because he was the art director of a photo shoot from the 2000 Boob Cruise that I actually appeared in as a guest model with Ariana and Tanya Danielle.
There are a couple of girls here modeling on different projects. During my visit, I got to meet Persia Monir as she was on her way to a conference room. She’s a MILF but much more than that.
