Kate Marie: Naked art class is in session
There was a famous line of marketing copy, written in 1926 for the U.S. School of Music, that became one of the most successful campaigns in advertising history: “They laughed when I sat down at the piano-but when I started to play!”
One thing I’ve never done is put on or grow a Van Dyke beard and a black beret and attend art classes sketching nude girls. I believe SCORE artist Otis Sweat started this way. I’ve always wanted to try one of those classes even though I can barely draw a smiley face. But I always thought, “They’d laugh when I would sit down to draw a naked girl-and they’d be right!”
Which brings me to today’s Kate Marie scene.
Kate Marie is the model of the day at SCORE‘s art class, where students try to improve their artistic skills with the assistance of a real female model. That’s a lot more fun than drawing a bowl of fruit.
Kate is truly a work of art, and she inspires many things that bring artistic endeavors to mind. And also jacking.
