January 14, 2002. That was the day Dave and I interviewed Diane Poppos in one of the early “Meet The SCORE Press” interviews we used to do. We conducted similar interviews with Cherry Brady, Jezhabelle and Chaka T.
That was a special day for me. I’m the kind of guy who’s not especially star-struck, especially by people we see on all of the celebrity sites and shows. If Cameron Diaz and Lady Gaga knocked on my door, something as likely as the space shuttle landing in my backyard, I wouldn’t let them in. But Poppos, as I tend to call her, was already a big-time celebrititty in the big-boob world, and meeting her in person was, and still is, a big deal to me. That interview is still archived on SCORELAND, and I remember it very well to this day.
Poppos is still a celebrity to me, one of those larger-than-life chicks. The original busty MILF/WILF (In her case, ex-wife.) Just recently, as you all know from checking into the Blog because we spilled the beans about her return, Diane called the studio out of the blue and asked if we wanted to photograph her again.

Back in October, I told you about the “20 Greatest Naturals” voting going on in SCORE magazine, in which we’re asking readers to choose their favorite naturals of the SCORE years. To recap, in the September 2001 issue of SCORE, we celebrated our “20 Greatest Naturals.” Now, with the 10th anniversary of that issue fast approaching with the September 2011 issue, we’re going to celebrate the “20 Greatest Naturals” once again, this time including every natural who has appeared in SCORE since 1992.
There were 43 models on the official ballot, which was published in the March and April issues. We haven't seen Chloe Vevrier for a long time, but she remains super-popular.
Now, before you start complaining that your favorite isn’t on the ballot, you should know that write-in votes were permitted and encouraged.
Anyway, the ballots have been pouring in (which pleasantly surprises me because filling out a ballot with 20 names, including write-ins, takes some time, effort and knowledge). And, so far, a few things stand out:
1. Counting these ballots is interesting, but it’s a pain in the ass.
2. One model has been named on every ballot except one. EVERY BALLOT. Guess who?
3. Danni Ashe, whose tits definitely are not among the largest naturals ever, is getting a lot of support.
4. The top five vote-getters are (in no particular order) Chloe Vevrier, Christy Marks, Linsey Dawn McKenzie, Merilyn Sakova and Karina Hart.
5. Judging from some of the write-in votes, some guys can’t tell a natural from an augmented pair of tits.
5. Of the 65 girls who have received votes, only 19 have had full sex on camera.
6. The battle for spots 11-20 in the new “20 Greatest Naturals” is going to be very close.
Anyway, that’s all I have to say about this for now. Gotta go back to counting votes. And if you feel like commenting with your “Top 20,” go right ahead. The January ’11 issue of SCORE isn’t officially scheduled to go on sale until November 2, but apparently, the issue has already found its way into several readers’ hands. That’s not surprising. Our subscriber fulfillment department mails out issues as soon as they get them, and many retailers don’t wait until the official on-sale date to put the latest mag on the racks (which is why you sometimes see more than one issue of SCORE or Voluptuous for sale at the same time).
Anyway, the reason I know the January ’11 issue is on-sale is that it’s our annual awards issue, and votes for 2010 Newcomer of the Year, 2010 Model of the Year and the SCORE Big-Boob Hall of Fame are already starting to pour in. Voting will start in the members area of SCORELAND sometime in mid-November.
So, since the proverbial cat is already out of the proverbial bag, here are the finalists in each category.

FYI, a model must have appeared in SCORE during the 2010 publishing year to be eligible for the Newcomer and Model awards. A model must have retired to be eligible for the Big-Boob Hall of Fame. So, yes, that’s the bad news regarding Nicole Peters and Crystal Gunns.
One more FYI: Eagle-eyed boob men will realize that Angelina Castro debuted in 2009 and is somehow eligible for 2010 Newcomer of the Year. That’s because the difference between Angelina now (super-sized) and Angelina then is so drastic, by all intents and purposes, she’s a newcomer.
You know, maybe I’m a bit sensitive about this subject because I’ve been the editor of SCORE for all but 17 issues since September 2001, but whenever I hear the 1990s described as the Golden Age of big tits–you know, ultra slim ‘n’ stacked girls like SaRenna Lee, Tiffany Towers and Busty Dusty–I get a bit defensive. There’s no denying that the 1990s really was a golden age of super-enhanced girls with impossibly huge tits sitting on top of impossibly tiny waists. Sure, we’ve had some great girls built in that mold since 2001 (Crystal Gunns, Morgan Leigh, Daphne Rosen, Annina, etc.), but for that kind of girl–the kind that regularly appeared on Jenny Jones and Springer–the 2000s can’t hold a candle to the 1990s.
But you know what? When it comes to naturally stacked girls, the 1990s can’t hold a candle to the 2000s. Not even close. Sure, the ’90s gave us Linsey, Chloe, Lorna, Autumn, Kerry Marie, Diane Poppos, Sammie and a lot of other great girls. But since then, these naturals have come our way: Sharday, Karina Hart, Christy Marks, Merilyn Sakova, Natalie Fiore, Janet Jade, Miosotis, Bea Flora, Nadine Jansen, Nicole Peters, Ashley Sage Ellison, Angela White, Ines Cudna, Brandy Talore, Annie Swanson and so on and so on and so on and so on. And since the start of the new decade, we’ve added Karla James, Arianna Sinn, Taylor Steele and Valory Irene to the mix. I haven’t even mentioned the V-Mag girls.
And I’m going to take this one step further and say that the mix of girls in the magazine and at SCORELAND is better now than it was in the ’90s. People like to say, “The good old days” and “I remember when,” but our minds tend to play tricks on us. We sometimes think that what we had is better than what we have. I’m sometimes surprised to look back and see that some of my favorite porn girls from the ’70s and ’80s, like Sue Nero, Lisa De Leeuw and Kay Parker, weren’t nearly as busty as I remember them being. Compare any current issue of SCORE to any issue from the ’90s–other than a Boob Cruise issue–and you’ll probably come away saying, “These are the best of times.”
That September ’01 SCORE was my first issue as editor, and it just happened to be the “20 Greatest Naturals” celebration. Well, for September 2011, we’re busy planning another “20 Greatest Naturals” issue, and I’m willing to bet that 15 of the 20 will be from 2001 on. Over the next several months, I’ll give you more details about that issue and how we’re going to arrive at the Top 20. There’ll be voting, etc. And if the past 10 years are any indication, over the next several months, a few more candidates for that list will come along.
As usual, when it comes to big tits, there’s a lot to look forward to.

Being the editor of Voluptuous has its perks. For one, I get to stare at big, natural tatas all day long. That is never a bad thing. The original forum on SCORELAND was “Scorecard,” an off-shoot of the “Scorecard” letters section in SCORE magazine. Over the years, “Scorecard” has been an enjoyable treasure trove of suggestions and ideas. It’s the kind of pose that’s shot specifically by request. The only additions I’d make to Africa’s photo would be for her to stick her tongue out as far as possible and open her eyes. In photo #3, Diane Poppos is probably not spreading as much as Dale would tell her to if he had been the photographer, but I don’t think he would complain about the perfect condition of her nails.
