The voting for the Big-Boob Hall of Fame is starting soon, but there’s an important matter to sort out

January 14, 2023 by Dave

I have a conundrum, and maybe you can help me solve it.

The voting for the 2022 SCORELAND Awards will begin shortly (our IT people are working on it now). There will be three categories: Newcomer of the Year, Model of the Year and the SCORE Big-Boob Hall of Fame. Members (and only members) get to vote. The conundrum is with the Big-Boob Hall of Fame.

Elliot and I, along with the other editors, decided, thanks to your input, to place Minka on the Hall of Fame ballot even though she hasn’t retired. We figured she’s absolutely going to be a Hall of Famer one day, so why delay the inevitable just because of some arcane rule? So Minka is on the ballot. But there’s a problem…

Hitomi retired in 2022. She’s on the ballot, too. And for years, we’ve inducted only one girl per year.

Now, we could induct two girls this year. There’s no rule saying we can’t. And let’s not forget the many other worthy girls on the ballot, including Casey James, Kerry Marie and Cindy Cupps.

So, how should we handle this?

1. Continue to induct only one girl per year. All the others will have to wait their turn. That’s how it’s been for almost two decades.

2. Induct the top two (or three) vote-getters regardless of the percentage of votes they accrue.

3. Come up with some standard, such as any girl who gets more than 25% or 30% of the vote gets inducted. Maybe you can help us with the proper number if we do this.

Help me out!

I personally like option #3. I think that if a model gets say 20% of the vote, she’s in. I would even take option #2 as a second choice, but one at a time is not right. I remember these models fondly, but how many people remember Casey James, Morgan Leigh, Kerry Marie, or Cindy Cupps? And it sucks that Ines Cudna and Janet Jade are not on the ballot this year. Every year, new retirees enter the ballot and make it harder for the older generation to join the HOF doing the one-a-year mode.

As for this years ballot, Hitomi is the most decorated model in SCORE history. She was Newcomer of the Year, the first woman to win Model of the Year back to back (she won it three years in a row), and was voted Model of the Decade for the 2010’s. That’s truly GOAT material! Why put Minka, a model who hasn’t retired yet, in the HOF? With all due respect, she needs to retire and wait her turn.

I think there should be room for more than one fall of fame inductee per year. Whether it’s based on percentages or it’s based on something more arbitrary like “Natural Breast Hall of Fame Inductee” & “Augmented Breast Hall of Fame Inductree”

Why rush this? Let it be a big thing, a battle between the two greatest Big Bust Asian models in SCORE history. One will be crowned the 2023 Empress of Enormous! =D

    Option #3

I had the same questions as Carney22. Why feel the need force the induction of Minka if she is still active? It becomes a slippery slope by setting this precedent.

I would say allow the top 3 vote getters to free up the bottle neck. But at the same time, active models (like Minka) should not be eligible.
When she does retire, she shouldn’t have problem getting in because the bottleneck will have been loosened.

There is certainly room for more than one lady a year. I’ve been a team Minka fan since 1992. And Hitomi is without question a Hall of Famer.

Omg! What JT said! I LOVE Kerry Marie!

For those who don’t have a copy of the list, here are the 28 members of the SCORE Big Boob Hall of Fame:

Bust, Wendy Whoppers, Alexis Love; 2006– Angelique, Nikki Knockers; 2007–SaRenna Lee; 2008–Danni Ashe; 2009–Lindsey Dawn McKenzie, Chloe Vevrier; 2010—Sharday; 2011–Nicole Peters; 2012–Autumn Jade; 2013–Alyssa Alps; 2014–Crystal Gunns; 2015–Daphne Rosen; 2016–Merilyn Sakova; 2017–Lorna Morgan; 2018–Lisa Lipps; 2019–Christy Marks; 2020–Karina Hart; 2021–Valory Irene; 2022–Sha Rizel.

For years I have felt that the one inductee per year rule needed to change. Maybe do something like baseball where if a second nominee gets at least a certain percentage of the vote she also gets in. It seems ridiculous to me that someone like Kerry Marie is still not in despite her unbelievable body of work. You could also, like baseball, have a veterans committee who can induct someone who has been oj the ballot for a certain number of years and has come close but has not been voted in.

I’m pleased this discussion is getting air-time. What separates Score from other adult publications and productions is its vast back-catalogue of stars, and the Big Boob Hall of Fame is when these veteran ladies get their time to shine again. I always look forward to both the nominations and awards for this category every year. Personally, I believe there is a log-jam going on right now. Sha Rizel, Valory Irene and Karina Hart are some of the best titters to ever grace Score magazine – but what about Casey James, Morgan Leigh and Kerry Marie, who seem to be perpetual second-placers? If two ladies were to win each year, it would not only address this problem, but it might also reflect voting tastes better. For example, in 2023, both a naturals legend and an augmented legend could win… cough cough!

I’d say option 2, both of them really deserve to be in the hall of fame. So sad to see Hitomi is gone ☹️

  12. Joey says:

Why not induct the girls based on categories? Like one natural and one enhanced? That way, both Hitomi and Minka can get in. It’s the diplomatic way to get in two models in the same year.

  13. Fletch says:

There should be a criteria for automatic qualification not requiring a vote. It could be based on magazine/dvd sales, reader engagement, longevity, quantity and quality of output. It goes without saying that Minka would tick all these boxes and then some.

To answer your questions, it would help to know why you feel the need to change the way you’ve been doing it for years. I mean, I understand the thinking that, unlike, say, an athlete, a model can end her retirement at any time and “reset the clock,” as it were, on when she’d be eligible, but so what?

Of course Minka will eventually be included . . . she’s one of the all-time greats. Why do you feel it’s important to force the issue?

Personally, I like the sports-hall-of-fame model that you adopted. I think it helps to have some separation of a few years to consider a model’s body of work before bestowing the honor. And the fact that, with the exception of some of the early years of the vote, it’s been one inductee a year has created a little drama in recent years when the ballots have been so stuffed with worthy candidates.

But the question is still “why?” Being in the SCORE Big Boob Hall of Fame would seemingly be the greatest honor that a modern-day busty erotic model could receive. But it’s not like you do anything to celebrate the fact, other than just the one-off announcement. I’ve been carping for years about how you need, at the very least, a page here at Scoreland commemorating the membership of the Hall, or listing all of the other Score, Voluptuous and Scoreland annual award winners. But still, nothing at all.

So why bend the “rules?” What’s served by doing that? Minka and Hitomi will obviously eventually get in, so why the push to get it done quickly.? It’s not like there aren’t some great models still on the ballot that should get THEIR chance now.

    Just a few thoughts . . .

Hi, carney22: We really don’t feel the need to change things, but it seems like some people would like for us to change things. I can see where they’re coming from. The criteria that a model must be retired to get into the Big-Boob Hall of Fame comes from the criteria many sports leagues use, and I’m not even sure of the sense of that. Baseball, in fact, requires, a player to be retired for five years. Hockey has a similar rule, but then Guy Lafleur came back to play after he was inducted. And in these days of Twitter, Instagram, etc., when does a bg-boob model actually retire? And does it matter?

I guess what I’m asking is: What could Minka (or any other current great) do that would keep her from getting inducted? Nothing, right? I mean, she could get the dreaded breast reduction and she’d still get in based on her impressive body of work. So why wait?

By the way, we do several things to celebrate the Hall of Fame. We’ve done several pictorials honoring the Hall of Famers in SCORE magazine and also did a Hall of Fame movie.

There should be something like a lifetime achievement award, like the Oscars. For the models who have long retired and for llveterans who are still at it.
