The diversity of opinions in the world of SCORE and Voluptuous never ceases to impress me. Some of the feedback we get is incredibly detailed. Even though we can’t possibly fulfill every wish, I still appreciate the interest and the motivation of the guys and gals who take the time to connect, especially these days when so much competes for our attention on a daily basis. I mean, I have a satellite TV subscription to a zillion channels and a subscription to a newspaper and several mags and I never mail these people any comments, opinions or feedback even though I’ve thought about it.
One of the bigger topics over the years that’s still going strong here is the bare feet vs heels issue. One of our regulars who calls himself “The Feetosopher” lives in Italy and is a prolific DVD buyer. He’s into bare feet and big tits. This is one of his more recent letters from the “Scorecard” reader forum in SCORELAND. He knows what he likes and even takes a statistical approach to the subject.

“Out of 106 full layouts you featured in 13 issues of Voluptuous in 2009, just 6 (I mean SIX!) included at least one (but often just one) picture in which the model’s bare feet were fully visible. This is less than 6% of the total number of layouts versus 20-30% in the 1997-2003 period even in the darkest period (2004-2008) you had never dipped below 9% of the total number of layouts. According to the poll you ran on SCORELAND, 23% of respondents like both boobs and feet in the layouts, and an additional 25% likes a mix (some boob-only layouts, some boob-and-feet layouts), it is quite apparent that you systematically disappoint at least 23% of them.”
The counterpointers have written that foot fans should stick to Leg Sex if they love feet that much. But The Feetosopher is a guy who likes to see the shoeless feet of busty girls, not only the feet of the more slinky, less curvy girls. I can relate because I like feet a lot myself although I’m a boob fan first. (I look at boobs first, feet and legs second, face third, ass fourth.) It’s just a fact that when a photographer is shooting a layout of a big-boobed girl, he’s got to think about her chest and often get close-up, not focus on her feet whether she is wearing shoes or not, and that means that a good portion of her legs and feet are not going to be in the picture. Otherwise, every photo would be a full-body shot.
My sole opinion about shoes is that if the model is going to wear her shoes throughout a layout and never kick them off, the shoes gotta be high, wild-looking and show a lot of toe cleavage. That’s why the girls wear what they wear at clubs. Sally Secretary shoes and low heels don’t cut it at all for me in a men’s mag pictorial or video. If that makes me an arch heel, so be it. I think we’ll still be dragging our feet about this topic ten years from now. Maybe one day, there will be a happy medium. Unless the boot crowd gains greater support. And we still have the ass, bush and pussy crowd to negotiate with.
F.C. gets the final word today: “Even if a man does not have a foot fetish, we like to see a woman’s feet. Feet are as expressive as hands, especially in the hardcore layouts and video. According to some American marketing research I read, six out of every ten men pay attention to women’s feet when we see an attractive girl in the street, and we like kissing and sucking our lover’s toes when we are having sex. You’ll notice some of your competitors go well out of their way to show the models’ feet. Yes, I know I can always buy your fine Leg Sex mags and DVD’s and I do own a few of them. But why do I have to choose between skinny-ass/small-titted babes in Leg Sex stuff or beautiful girls with big gazongas but no feet? Why can’t I have both big tits and feet?”

I have to agree on this and I am glad that someone wrote something about this. It really bothers me that very little content with the more curvier models (Voluptuous and XLGirls sites) focus at all on their bare feet. For me to get feet action from Scoreland, I have to watch videos with models that I do not find that attractive because they are too skinny.
For example, I would love to see a Renee Ross scene in a Boy/Girl hardcore vid where her feet are a big focus (i.e. sucking toes, foot jobs, rubbing her feet, shots of her feet from all angles during sex, etc…). There hasn’t been one yet however I am glad to see that at least most of her content has her barefoot.
To Scoreland:
Please make LegSex-like videos with the models from the Voluptuous and XLGirls sites. Specifically, hardcore Boy/Girl videos where the main focus are on her feet. There obviously seems to be a demand for this as it got enough attention for a blog post to made about this. Take this as a hint that this is an untapped source of content that would generate more positive business.
Also, even if in content that is LegSex-like that feature Voluptuous and XLGirl models, if the models are barefoot in a video whether it be Boy/Girl or solo please inform the directors to at least make it a point to feature some angles that showcase their bare feet in full view.

I perfectly remember a BREATHTAKING outdoors barefoot picture of you in the “squat” position (which can deliver top-class results when the model is barefoot!!!), holding a plastic tube for watering plants.. you had your toenails polished bright red.. 🙂

I too like to see bare feet! I don’t have any type of foot fetish. The bare feet seems natural, realistic and amateur (in a good way). Bare feet in the some of the poses are just plain hot! You did a photo of Sylvia Panda a long time ago, where she was photographed at her house or somewhere in another country… anyway she was sitting on something with her legs spread and extended… her feet were bare and dirty like she had been walking barefoot around her place all day. It was super hot!

Well, you called me directly into question this time (that’s a great honor!).. this adds extra pleasure to leaving my comment here.
In my modest opinion, what most “this ain’t Leg Sex” type readers ALWAYS FAIL TO GRASP is that I (and many other readers) are NOT, NOT, NOT, again NOT asking for close-ups of bare feet, or for layouts of skinny barefoot models with small tits in V-Mag, XL Girls or SCORE.
Personally I am 100% OK with emphasis being put on huge boobs and big round booties in the layouts.. of course!!! And I am 100% OK with models wearing shoes.. provided that there’s a chance to see them also BAREFOOTED EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE!!!
What I am asking for is a MORE BALANCED APPROACH in pictorials, which was present in most late 90s/early2000s issues and has now virtually disappeared.. to the point that in some layouts it seems that the model is NOT a woman, but a freaky “living thing” with (in order of importance) a pair of enormous boobs, a pussy, an asshole and a face. This may be OK with some readers.. well, TO ME (and to many others I hope) IT IS NOT, AS I LOVE WOMEN AS I SEE THEM IN REAL LIFE.. FROM HEAD TO BARE TOES!!!

VARIETY IS ESSENTIAL IN ANY ADULT MAGAZINE!!! (ain’t it Elliot? :D) Different models must be shot in different situations, and this allows for different poses.. in this way, the sight of each part of every model’s body can be enjoyed.. INCLUDING HER BARE FEET!!!

I agree with F.C. Having a foot fetish and wanting to see the feet are not the same thing. Maybe you can include shots like the ones above more often in the magazines. I’m a web subscriber only, so I get to see more pictures than the average guy who buys the Mag, but if what he says is true, then yes, maybe more shots like these are needed in the mags… But without making too much emphasis we dont want the mag to turn into legsex.
An excellent post Elliot! I too have quite the love for a woman with beautiful feet and toes. Although, I am very picky when it comes to feet and toes on a woman, even more picky than I am about breasts! But I definitely am a boob man and a foot man, and I would say that my woman’s feet turn me on the second most of anything on her body (of course her F cup tits always come first). It looks like, as you mentioned, this debate is never going to end.
