The SCORE and Voluptuous contests at SCORELAND have been open for about three weeks. The January ’13 SCORE with its contest ballot has been on news racks for two weeks, and the January ’13 Voluptuous with its ballot just hit stores a few days ago.
Aside from making their decisions, what do some voters have to say? Here’s a selection of opinions in this difficult election year. Man, everyone has different ideas and choices. Different strokes for different folks. And so on and so on and scooby dooby doo bee…
“This year it was extremely hard to pick the models for the awards. They are all so HOT! For SCORE Newcomer of the Year, I chose Siri. From head to toe, she is smoking! Inverted nipples…I am currently obsessed with them.
I think my obsession started when Jenna Valentine, whom I love to talk to, told me she had a shy nipple. Up until that point, inverted nipples were a thing of mystery to me.
Ever since then, I am seeing them more and more often in our studio.

But today when I was discussing inverted nipples with a friend, I realized that although I love them, I really am clueless about why inverted nipples are, well, inverted.
So, I put on my big-boob scientist’s lab coat and went to town on some research about these shy sucklers.
Here is what I found out.
For one thing, both men and women can be born with inverted nipples. I didn’t know that before today and now I want to meet a guy with inverted nipples because my curiosity is pretty serious. lol
Secondly, about 10-20% of women have varying degrees of nipple inversion. There are actually three grades of inverted nipples.
Grade 1 are commonly referred to as “Shy Nipples.” These nipples can easily be pulled out by using finger pressure around the aureola. Women with Grade 1 nipples can usually breastfeed easily and only have shy nipples sometimes. Jenna Valentine has these kinds of nipples.
Grade 2 usually require more stimulation to come out and cannot be pushed out with finger pressure. These ladies might be able to breast feed depending on the amount of suction their nipples receive. I imagine that a breast pump would be handy for these gals. Siri has these nipples.
Grade 3 inverted nipples usually do not respond to suction or stimulation and these women need surgery to protract the nipple and allow it to be on the outside, rather than inverted. These ladies cannot breast feed.
(I have yet to meet a set of Grade 3 nipples, but I am sure that they exist somewhere out there in the universe of tits.)
Ladies with inverted nipples can be born that way or the inversion could be caused by breastfeeding, pregnancy, weight loss and a series of diseases and syndromes that I don’t want to talk about because they make me sad.
(I get sad when bad things happen to boobies. I do.)
But let’s get back to talking about stimulation.
I think my curiosity with inverted nipples is all about the stimulation. The way a person would want to rub a lamp so that a genie comes out is the same way that I want to suck on a pair of inverted nipples until they emerge, glorious and victorious.
Am I the only one who is fascinated by these innies?

The time for the V-mag annual awards issue is here and I am excited. As the editor of V-mag, it is my favorite issue to do because it is, as they say, the whole enchilada. There is a bit of everything and a lot of everything that is good.
There are newcomers to consider and the list of ladies is pretty great. Newbie Roxanne Miller is looking like a strong contender. So is Siri. Everyone’s favorite Latina newcomer is Nancy Navarro, it seems.

I mean, just looking through the photos has me wondering how this contest is going to be won. It is going to go down to the wire. The winner will win by just a few votes, that is how close it is going to be. Let’s just put it this way: Hitomi vs. Karina Hart? Leanne Crow vs. Renee Ross? Elaina Gregory vs. Jenna Valentine? And that’s just HALF of the lineup. It’s going to be a hell of a contest.
You guys will be seeing the issue around November but know that it is already in the works and that the voting is going to be close this year, so make sure you get your issues early and vote right away so you don’t miss out on the fierce competition.

I predict that Siri is going to sweep the Newcomer of the Year category in V-mag.
Hitomi will be the model to beat for Model of the Year in V-mag for 2012.
2012 Newcomer of the Year? Looks to me like we've got a winner. But am I the only one who's thinking that way?
I know it’s not even August, but the way the publishing calendar works, issues of monthly magazines are worked on months in advance of their actual on-sale date. So, we’re beginning to compile the list of finalists for 2012 SCORE Newcomer of the Year (a SCORE year consists of the 13 issues from January to Holiday), and I was surprised by something Elliot James said to me the other day.
From where I’m sitting, I don’t see any way that Hitomi (who debuted in the January ’12 issue) doesn’t win Newcomer of the Year.
But wouldn’t you know it, Elliot completely disagrees with me. He thinks Siri is going to win Newcomer of the Year.
And Steve, the art director of SCORE, thinks it’s going to be very close between Hitomi and Siri (but Hitomi will probably win).
All of this surprises me not only because I thought Hitomi was a shoo-in (she was voted the 10th-greatest SCORE Girl of all-time in the recent “20 for 20” contest) but because I kind of thought Melissa Manning would run second in the voting.
Of course, for now, this is just a subject for lunchtime discussion. The first vote won’t be cast until next December. But am I missing something here? Is Hitomi a shoo-in for Newcomer of the Year? Or am I in for a big December surprise?
